1. We created a scoring system that takes into account each of the following factors:
    1. Feasibility
    2. Cost
    3. Timeline
    4. Economic Viability
    5. Legal Liability
    6. Alignment to Mission
    7. Meme Value
    8. Each is added as a field to the right with a dropdown to select the score.
  2. The "REF" tab has all the factors and the weighting for the score calculations so feel free to modify the factors or change the weights.
  3. Filtered out ideas that are not complete or detailed and any duplicates which is noted in columns “Status” and “Rationale for Status”.
    1. Parcel 1 ideas were colored in following way:
      1. Light green: strong proposal
      2. Dark green: strong proposal but could be costly to maintain
      3. Yellow: has 1 or 2 key weaknesses
      4. Red: weak proposal or needs more detail
  4. Added two columns:
  5. "Parcel vs Side Project": for the purpose of this exercise, we filtered out side projects, as those can always be added on later.
  6. "Category of Parcel" : we ended up with 7 categories of parcels / ideas:
  7. Economic Use (just a business)
  8. Embassy / HQ
  9. Partnership
  10. Retreat
  11. Retreat / Economic Use
  12. Start a city

c. We then added a column "Linked Parcel ID" we used this to group ideas that were similar or could be merged, eg. there were two proposals for a property in Denver, one had a specific parcel, the other didn't, so we put them both as #9 in that column. We also marked some as "category" if the idea would be applicable to any parcel in that category which was true of some of the more general ideas.
