CityDAO Embassy will be a Co-Working/Event space for citizens to gather and interact in the real world. The space will also be open to non-citizens but as a paid service. This paid service will use a booking app to book time slots or subscriptions to the space. Citizens will also be required to book time but will have a number of slots reserved each week. They will connect their wallet to the app and be able to book anytime for free as long as its available.
The embassy will be in a City like New York, Chicago, Denver, Austin or Miami, etc. It will likely be multi-story consisting of an eating area/bar, private offices, meeting rooms, event spaces, chillout zones and open office desk spaces.
CityDAO Spots will be a series of residential property around the globe that will hold events, and workshops for citizens. In time where there is no events, these spots will act as air bnbs with discounts for citizens.
CityDAO spots will hold both non-overnight and overnight workshop events for citizens and will be arranged by sponsors. These events may be hackathons, panel talks, workshops, speaker series etc.
CityDAO spots will begin with a $2-5 million property between 6,000 and 15,000 square feet outside a City with a lot of events that correspond to CityDAO mission (e.g crypto events, real estate events, development workshops etc.)
CityDAO communities further ventures towards the creation of a City. CityDAO communities will be a citizen sustaining village or community with the goal of allowing citizens to live and govern a community of their own. One example is a 30 property village in Tuscany, Italy. This community will host events and workshops and overtime select citizens through trial living periods of 2 months, to live there full time or part-time. The cost of this property is $18 million dollars.
CityDAO community 2 aims to purchase an island in the Bahamas or similar with the purpose of building a web3 community. These island range between $5 and $50 million and contain already built infrastructure like ports, airports, property and energy. The goal is to sell parcels containing self-sustaining eco-friendly properties to citizens completely off-grid and un-reliant on any centralised infrastructure.
